Terms of Use
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Split 1999 creates a page displaying an uploaded payment QR and details supplied by the uploader. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Acceptable use and compliance
Use the service for lawful, genuine payment requests. Do not use it to evade taxes, fees, KYC, reporting, transaction limits, fraud controls, payment-provider rules, or any legal restriction. Do not mislead payers or facilitate unlawful activity. Users are responsible for following applicable laws and provider requirements. No certification or regulatory approval is claimed.
Uploaded QR and payment responsibility
You must have the right to use the QR and verify its destination and payment details. We display the uploaded QR without changing its destination or encoding the amount. Payers should verify the recipient and amount in their own payment app. A QR display or scan is not proof of payment.
Providers, refunds, and disputes
Split 1999 is not a bank, payment processor, escrow service, or party to the transaction. Payment completion, settlement, fees, refunds, and disputes depend on the relevant payment providers and merchant. No refund or dispute mechanism is provided here.
Prohibited uses
Do not upload malicious, deceptive, unauthorized, or unlawful content; disrupt the service; access another user’s data; or create artificial payment steps to circumvent fees, taxes, thresholds, or regulations.
Availability
The service may change or be withdrawn and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted. Payment pages expire after 30 days.
